PE 15 has stopped allowing modified file name to show in photofunStudio 10XE l959

Until recently all worked ok but now after a photo edit & then saving it with a modified name, it was saved in Doc/… it no longer shows as a thumbnail in Panasonics photofunstudio XE10 but the file name is there inDoc/…

e.g.     thispc/ docs/20180717/ P10122234 was opened in PE 15 & then edited

          it was saved as thispc/docs/2018/ gh5 test P1022234.jpg

         this then shows as saved correctly in thispc/docs/2018/…. 

          however, all other files in the 20180717 display in photofunstudio o.k.

          I have used this method in PE9,PE!!,PE13 & PE15

          any ideas anyone?Photoshop Elements​
