PE 15 Validation Error

I'm having trouble validating Photoshop Elements on my windows 8.

I have repeatedly clicked on the validate now button but to no avail can anyone shed some light on this?

Please go to this location C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc & delete the Hosts file. It should resolve the issue.

- Are you using a Windows or a Mac machine?

- What exact error message you get while activation?

- Are you using any 3rd party antivirus in your machine?
