Photishop 2024 / Hiow can I deactivate the license when the harddisk is broken?

I use Photoshop Elements 2024 on my PC and occasionally on my notebook. Now the hard drive of the PC is defective. How can I deactivate the license now, please? The correct license is stored in my account under my products. However, I can't find anything with activated devices. Where and how can I deactivate the license now, please? Am I alone in thinking that this is stupidly solved?

You need to contact Adobe directly. Log on to your account and initiate a  chat session with a representative. Indicate that you need help with deactivation on a broken machine.

If you can still open the Elements Editor, go to the Help menu and sign out.  This will deactivate the program on that machine.
