Photo shop elements 11 to 14 upgrade problems with catalog

I have upgraded photo shop elements 11 to 14 and I transferred catalogue from 11 to14 I have found that there is a lot of stuff I do not want in 14 how do I delete catalogue from 14 and will it still be available in 11 if I lose anything my wife will murder me I did want to upgrade to 15 but my pc is only 32bit and 15 only supports 64bit

    What is not clear for me is the word 'transfer'.

    In the organizer, you can either 'convert' a catalog or 'import' media files.

    'Converting' a catalog is relatively fast (should not last for hours) and creates a new catalog without any newer files than the original.

    'Importing' may be deceptive because the default option is to scan all your computer and to 'import' (register in the catalog) all media files. Your description makes that likely.

    If that is so, your catalog not only has more files than needed, the import was much longer than a conversion, and worse, you have lost albums, stacks, version sets and even tags.

    It will be easy to simply delete that bad catalog, but lets start by a real 'conversion' of the old catalog.

    In the menu File >> Manage catalogs, you have a 'convert' button. It should show you a list of your catalogs. Select the good one and let the conversion work for you. Ask if something is not clear.

    When you have converted the catalog, you can test that you have everything of the old catalog, and nothing more...

    Now you can use the menu File >> Manage catalogs to select the bad catalog and click on the 'delete' button.

    How did you 'transfer' the catalog?

    If you simply have installed PSE14 together with PSE11, nothing has been changed to your photo files and your PSE11 catalog is still available.

    When installing PSE14, you should have been prompted to 'convert' the current PSE11 catalog to the new format. In that case, a new catalog is created in the PSE14 database format, with all the information stored in the previous catalog. The original PSE11 catalog is only renamed with a -1 suffix and is always available for PSE11.

    It seems that the 'conversion' has worked but you want to delete stuff from the PSE14 catalog or even from the hard disk? Could give more details?

    I Installed 14 from an update disc when it asked if I wanted to convert the current PSE 11 catalogue I clicked on transfer and it did it when I transferred it took ages to transfer when I opened it up it seems to have transferred all the folders with pictures and loads of stuff that was not on 11 I thought that if I deleted 14 when I installed it again it would ask me the question again but it had reloaded the catalogue  I only want to delete all of the catalogue  from 14 not my hard drive I am on win10 32bitI if I can delete catalogue we only want to put on what my wife is using at the moment
