Photocopy Filter

I have always used the photocopy filter on images with no problem. Recently when I try to filter an image and I use photocopy it gives me a blank image. I can use some of the other filters but a few give me a blank image. Reason?

    Be sure foreground and background are set as default, black/white. Shortcut D.

    Suggest that you reset preferences to default.

    Go to Edit>Preferences>General and look for this:
