I don't understand why Insert Image doesn't work for you. You said you got the Insert Image window. There shouldn't be a second obscured window like you are getting. When you click Browse you should get the standard Windows file browser where you then navigate to select your picture.

What type of PC are you working from: desktop, laptop, tablet, other?

Anyway, we can certainly look at or download your image from Flickr or SmugMug (I'n not familiar with that one), or Dropbox if you have that.

I have a Dell desktop PC with Windows 10. I have never used the Windows Snipping Tool before. On my first attempt I pasted a black box.

When I uploaded the picture to Flickr it looks better than it did in Photoshop, the blurring of horizontal lines is not gone but it is much less in Flickr than it was in Photoshop. Here is the address of the picture in Flickr:

    Bill,

You didn't provide the link to your SendSpace picture. However I assume it's the same as the Flickr picture which I did download.

Is this the "blur" you are referring to?

Also note that the telephone lines are choppy.

This phenomenon (I believe it is called Moire) I've often seen in PSE  when viewing a picture at other than 100% or 50% size.

I've also seen it in other viewers such as Windows Photo Viewer and Irfanview.

In this PSE example the zoom is 27%

However here it is zoomed to 100%.  No Moire and the telephone lines (not shown here ) are nice and straight.

When printed the picture will look correct regardless of the zoom size in PSE.

If this does not explain your problem, please clarify.

Unfortunately, the adobe forums don't accept email attachments so you'll have to use your internet browser to insert the image.

    Use the Insert Image button.
