Photoshop 5.5 and Photshop Elements 2020

Having migrated my CS 5.5 to a new machine, I now want to install tools from a different machine, though updating Photoshop Elements to the current version as I find many things more conveniently done with Elements than in the full Photoshop.

My question is, Working in a Windows 10 Pro environment, will installing Elements interfere with my CS 5.5 functionality?

As I frequently do not have Internet access having stand alone functionality is essential; cloud based-resources are just not an option.

Since each version of the software is independent, there should not be a conflict.

Suggest that you download the free 30-day trial of PSE for evaluation.

I don't see how you can "install tools from a different machine,"

    Thanks. That is very helpful.

I had the disks so I uninstalled from one and reinstalled to the new.
