Photoshop and Camera Connectivity

I am using Photoshop V. 11 with a Canon EOS 5D Mark III. Recently, when I went to transfer pictures to my

MacBook Pro, OS Sierra, I got the message: "Cannot locate device." How do I rectify this?

If you use Image Capture, does that detect your camera?

Kelly, I'm sorry. I'm using PSE, not Photoshop as I said. but when I try to add photos it says it cannot detect my device. darrell

Did you recently upgrade to macOS Sierra?

Do you have the latest macOS Sierra 10.12.2?

As a test try Image Capture and see if it detects your camera.
