Photoshop and Premier elements not working om MacOS 12.2

I had a Mac running 10.5 with Elements 2022 trail running perfectly until my kids caused it to somersault onto the floor with disasterous results.  

Ive replaced it with another newer model running Monteray and before actually buying elements i thought id load the trail back on. 

Problem,,,,     The install appears to go ok with no errors reported.   The home screen comes up no issues. I select either  Organiser, Photoshop editor or Premier editor. the message comrs up regarding the loading of the relavent workspace.  The Mac verifies the software OK.  Then Nothing.. Nada.. zilch..

Anyone have any ideas?     The software downloaded from Adobe website.    

I've been reading that there is a patch to download from the Organiser but as I can't even get that loaded I'm stuck.  Anyone have that as a separate download?
