Photoshop elem 6 won't load d3400 raw

I tried every download on photoshop element 6 to load raw images from my d3400 nothing I tried looking for update in pse6 nothing I've downloaded DNG converter nothing... so How the hell do I get d3400 raw into PSE6

Thanks for the response. I actually ended up downloading nikon nx-d and converting my NEF into TIFF and then loading the TIFF into photoshop.

Cameras supported by Camera Raw

Camera Raw plug-in and Adobe application compatibility

The D3400 was first supported in Camera Raw 9.7 which is only compatible with Elements 15 and later. The current version is Elements 2018.

Adobe never retrospectively adds support for new cameras to old software so you'll never be able to open those Raw files in Elements 6.

Options:

  1. Upgrade to Elements 2018 (or buy it new if it's cheaper that way), or
  2. Use the DNG converter

I've downloaded DNG converter nothing

The DNG converter works OK when used correctly.

Download the current DNG converter from Digital Negative (DNG), Adobe DNG Converter | Adobe Photoshop CC

You then point the converter to a folder of Raw images, even if there's only one image in the folder.
