Photoshop element do not work anymore after windows update

Question

Photoshop werkte prima tot dat ik windows update uitvoerde (de april 2018 update).

Nu kan ik nog maar één foto openen, dat duurt meer dan 30 seconden, daarna krijg ik de foutmelding dat er problemen met inlezen jpg zijn.

Bij het opslaan krijg ik nu de melding dat het geheugen niet voldoende is.

Heb het programma al een keer verwijderd en opnieuw geïnstalleerd.

Wie weet raad?

Ik kan niets meer met dit programma(!)

My photoshop worked perfectly until i update my windows 10.

Now the program can only open one photo. That takes al long time (about 30 sec).

I cannot open a second photo. I get the error that there is a problem reading jpg.

When i try to save a photo the error that there is not enough memory.

I have reinstalled the program, but that dosnot work

What can I do?

There are many recent posts about the problems after the recent Windows 10 (build 1803) update.

The following one describes the problem and details the only known solution today, which is to edit the Windows registry. The step by step description from ssprengel should guide you.
