Photoshop Elements 11 and Win 11 serial number

Question

I buyed many years ago Adobe Photoshop Elements 6. I transferred it on different HW reentering the s/n up to now without problems. Now due to crash on my last hw I tryed to reinstall it on Win 11 but the s/n seems to be invalid.

Any suggestion is appreciated

Did you deactivate the license on your new hardware?  If not, you have used up the maximum two activations, and you may not be able to retrieve an active license.  However, see this post for possible solutions for you.  In any event, Elements 6 is now nearly 20 years old.  There have been many improvements in the program.  If you are able to do so, I strongly suggest that you upgrade to the latest version.  As a prior owner of the program, you are entitled to a discount if you purchase directly from Adobe.
