Photoshop Elements 11, unsuccessful re-installation from backup?

Recently I had to wipe and  re-install my OS ( High Sierra). When trying to open Elements 11, it said it was not compatible with my OS and needed to be updated, plus I received error code 6.  HELP. It was bundled with my MacBook, and I don't have a reg.code. to re-install it from Adobe.
