Camera Raw plug-in and Adobe application compatibility

FYI, the last version of Camera Raw which was compatible with Elements 12 was 8.5. You can not install any later version than that in Elements 12.

So your options are to either upgrade to Elements15 or use the DNG converter then edit the DNG files in Elements 12

Adobe DNG is the only thing I have been able to use to open RAW files from my Canon 80d on PSE12. Works fine but time consuming to bring in the raw to Adobe DNG and then get rid of the RAW files and use the DNG files for PSE12

I did not complete the question. Have new camera not supported in elements 12. I can't find a way to update raw. I understand that verswion 9.8 is available but I can't find a way to get to It. Help would be appreciated.
