Photoshop Elements 12 editor won't start.

Hello,

I purchased PE12 from WalMart & installed on my mother's pc. It ran fine. She took ill & was unable to use a pc for a year or so. When she tried to open PE12 it said it was a 30 day trial version. I uninstalled & reinstalled several times & cannot get the editor to open no how, no way. I get the organizer to open but that's it. I get the window claiming that it's loading the editor workspace but nothing happens.

I've tried the Adobe Cloud removal tool.

This program would have to cure cancer to be worth this much trouble but it's the one my mom is familiar with & wants to use.

    Hi,

    The symptoms you describe (organizer working - editor not working) suggest that the serial number hasn't been entered.

    When you reinstalled PSE do you have the serial number?

    If you bought it from WalMart then you probably had a redemption code which you would go online to convert it to a serial number

    A serial number starts 1057 (do not give any numbers in a reply - public forum)

    During the installation you are asked for country and serial number.

    Without the serial number you get just 30 days trial - when that expires, you still retain access to the photos in the organizer but not the editor

    Hope you have the serial number
