Photoshop Elements 12 looks pixilated on new iMac desktop

I recently purchased an iMac desktop. I am trying to download my photoshop elements program on my iMac. I installed it, entered the serial key and ran it. Everything was fine until I opened the program, and everything looks so pixelated and blurry. The entire program itself. I was told to download adobe creative cloud clean on my iMac, which I did. I followed the step (at least I thought I followed the steps correctly) but nothing happened. I reinstalled photoshop and the program still looks blurry and pixelated. Its hurts my eyes. Help!!!

Photoshop elements is not part of Creative Cloud.

Anyway, it sounds like your new iMac has a Retina screen and pse 12 is blurry because it's not optimized for Retina (high density)  screens, so pse 12 displays in Low Resolution and looks blurry compared to the other tack sharp applications.

Think of it as a few years ago a normal screen resolution would have been 1900 x 1080 on an iMac and now the screen resolution on a Retina screen is something like 4096 x 2304, so because pse 12 is not made for retina screens, your mac enlarges the interface to be the same size as other applications, except it gets blurry when enlarged.

The gist of this you need a photoshop elements versions Optimized for Retina screens and the current photoshop

elements 2018 is and will be nice and sharp on your new iMac.
