Photoshop Elements 12 - Process Multiple Files - "Import" Source Greyed Out

Hello!  I just purchased a new Brother ADS 1500W scanner, which has a document feeder, so that I could scan and save a ton of old photos in a relatively short period of time.

I discovered that Photoshop Elements has the ability to import multiple files at once, which is perfect.  However, when I open "File", then click on "Process Multiple Files", then try to select the "File From" of "Import" from the drop down menu... it is greyed out and I cannot select it.

Does anyone know what might be causing this?  I am just using the default drivers for the scanner, since I am very hesitant to install the bloatware that comes with it, but could that be the solution?  Is there a setting in Elements I'm missing?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Which operating system are you using?

The import part needs a plugin like twain to be active, so if your using windows install the Twain plugin from the Optional Plugins folder and try Process Multiple Files again.

You should also be able to use File>Import as well.

YOU DID IT!  It works PERFECTLY!! ** THANK YOU THANK YOU!! **

(Now I'm just curious why they force you to copy and paste folders in order to make it work... NEVER MIND... doesn't matter!)

    Can't thank you enough!
