Photoshop Elements 13 Photomerge: Panorama

Trying to do a Photomerge: Panorama. I choose the 6 pictures and start the process. Elements aligns all the layers and then when it tries to show me what it has come up with the ENTIRE thing just disappears. There are NO open picture files, there are no layers, NOTHING. The screen is back to what it is when I first open PSE. I've tried doing it with full resolution files, compressed files and even using only 3 of the 6 files and each time it does the exact same thing.
