Photoshop Elements 13 Religiously Crashing on OSX High Sierra 10.13.6

PSE fully updated as is Imac (late 2015) running OSX High Sierra 10.13.6

Problem :

Crash occurs using the lassoo tool when holding alt down to - deselect image. Crash will occur reasonably quickly everytime.

Help please. Very frustrating.
