Photoshop Elements 14.1 No Sound

Hello

I am having a sound problem with Photoshop Elements 14.1 and would greatly appreciate any help anyone can provide.

I am making a slide show.  I click on Audio at the bottom of the screen which displays a list of different sounds.  When I try to preview the sound, it does not play.  If I choose it and preview the slide show there is still no sound.

My computer sound seems ok.  I can play other sound recordings with no problem

I am using a Windows 10 operating system.

I would appreciate any feedback you can give me.
