This has been running perfectly with Windows 10 until the weekend when Windows downloaded large update files. Since then I cannot open Elements and I get the message " Entry Point not Found The procedure entry point crt create symbolic link W could not be located in the dynamic link library".

It is impossible to contact Adobe for advice via their web site and telephone numbers for Adobe assistance are non existent! I am very disappointed with Adobe lack of access for support RayD

Suggest that you go back to a restore point (in WIN) to a point in time prior to the update which you reference. Perhaps this will restore the functionality of PSEv14.

If not, you can try to uninstall the updates via control panel.

Try repairing the runtime files from the Windows control panel – Programs & Features. Start with 2015 and work upwards.

Simply click on a file and choose change – see image below - then click repair. After running a repair on the 2015 x86 and x64 files reboot your computer and try launching elements again. Try repairing the earlier versions only if necessary.
