Photoshop elements 14 auf neuem pc geht nicht

Alte PC ist kaput, kann nicht mehr starten. will Photoshop Elements 14 auf neuem PC nutzen. Besitze CD und Lizens.

Beim Starten gibt raus: "die Seriennummer wird bereits verwendet". Beim klicken auf "Aktivirung wiederholen" passiert nichts. Am Telefon wurde gesagt dass eine neue Serien nr. generiert werden muss. Aber meine Adobe-Konto habe ich erst vor ein paar Monate kreirt, also Produkt ist nicht angemeldet... Wie kann ich mein Produkt nutzen?

@positive_adventure0950 if you didn't deactivate it from your old PC and have used up all your activation counts, you're out of luck, Adobe no longer reset activation counts for legacy software

@Ged_Traynor while it is true that Adobe Support will no longer reset license activations, it is not necessarily true that the user is out of luck.  We have had several reports from users that they have been able to activate a license by disconnecting their computer from the internet and signing in offline, using the instructions that may be found here.  I have asked Adobe for a definitive response about whether a user can still activate a legacy license under these circumstances.  I have been told that the issue is being looked into and that possibly the current uninformative HelpX articles may be amended to reflect the current state of affairs.  While I am not holding my breath for an answer, I hope that Adobe will clarify the situation.

 

One other point to mention about the OP is that they have recently created an Adobe account.  This suggests that they are now using a log in address that is not associated with the original program license which was issued 7 or 8 years ago.
