Photoshop Elements 14 is Damaged

"Adobe Photoshop Elements 14 is damaged and can't be opened. Delete Adobe Photoshop Elements 14 and download it again from the App Store." HELP! I downloaded this about 6 months ago on my MAC and haven't opened it for a couple of months. I got an error tonight opening it up that it's damaged. I looked on the App Store and 14 is no longer available and will cost $70 to upgrade to 15. How did my PSE 14 get damaged and what can I do to restore it?

hi,

Try restarting your machine once and then launch PSE 14.

If this doesn't help, please try re-installing PSE. Please go to App Store and look for PSE14 under your Purchases.
