Photoshop Elements 14 Stopped Working!

I have been using my Photoshop Elements 14 for over a year.  It just stopped working!  I have a HP Envy PC.  If I double click on the short cut icon, it seems like it's opening.  Then, it disappears.  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but the same error occurs.  I've searched all through the forums and found no help.  Can someone please help me get my program working again!
