Photoshop Elements 15 + AVGRA

Ok, I am really desperate for an answer to this, its taken me 2 days to get this far and I still haven't fixed the problem so any help is greatly appreciated. I have Photoshop Elements 15 which I purchased and downloaded via the Windows store, I am running Windows 10 and was running AVG free until yesterday. Now, the problem started about 2 weeks ago when I went to open Photoshop one day and upon clicking the icon instead of the program opening I was met with a BSOD which stated the following error code "System_Service_Exception", it also stated that the cause was wcfs.sys. This error repeated itself every time I tried to open Photoshop, I ran through the usual fixes i.e making sure I had all the Windows updates installed correctly, that my drivers were all up to date and that I didn't have any virus's all to no avail, Photoshop just kept causing the BSOD with the same error message every time I tried to open it. Following this I uninstalled and re-installed Photoshop using the Windows store, cleaning out the registry using CCleaner after the uninstall, again with no success so finally I did 2 re-installs of Windows. During the first re-install I chose to keep my files, when Windows had re-installed I then re-installed all of my programs including Photoshop. I can't remember what order I re-installed things but Photoshop wasn't the last thing to be installed, initially it worked fine however at some point in the process of putting the rest of my software on my computer it once again wouldn't open and caused the BSOD. Finally I did a re-install of Windows where I chose to wipe everything and start from scratch. This time Photoshop was the first program that I installed, I checked it and it worked. Next I installed AVG Free, after the installation I again checked that Photoshop was working only to again be met with the BSOD and the same error message as before. I immediately un-installed AVG and Photoshop worked as normal, after this I continued the rest of the set up process, installing all of my usual Programs, after installing each one I checked Photoshop and it was working fine, at some point in the installation process Avast anti-virus got installed by mistake (it must have been free with one of my other programs). As soon as I opened Photoshop I was met with the BSOD again, after un-installing Avast Photoshop worked fine.

Clearly there is some issue with Photoshop and the 2 antivirus software programs that were installed and this is causing the crash, unfortunately I have no idea what this issue might be and could really use some help figuring it out. At present I have no anti-virus running apart from Windows Defender as I have a back log of RAW images to process so I have chosen to go with Photoshop working correctly rather than running anti-virus software but obviously this isn't a long term solution.

Thanks for any help you guys can give

Ben
