Photoshop Elements 15 Crashing - MacOS

I've had photoshop elements 15 (MacOS) for about 18 months now with no issues. Suddenly its not opening. The blue start window will pop up, then it'll go away and the following message will pop up:

Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor quit unexpectedly.

Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple.

I've tried restarting and turning on/off my computer. I haven't had any new computer updates between the time photoshop was working then suddenly wasn't. I even re-downloaded photoshop, and it's still crashing. I'm at a loss. HELP!

Oddly, my Elements 11 has just started crashing today. I can open a file but as soon as I click the mouse on the image, the program crashes with "Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)" in the crash report.

I have tried downloading and installing again but the problem is still there.

I wouldn't normally expect two different versions to have the same problem, naturally. However, the fact that it's just started happening makes me wonder if there is some sort of communication from the app to Adobe that is receiving an invalid response. I used Elements yesterday without a problem, having updated to Mojave a few days ago. Today, it doesn't work.
