Photoshop elements 15 editor will not open, no error message

I installed Photoshop elements 15. When I go to open it organizer will open but the editor will not. I do not get an error message. I have Photoshop elements 12 already installed in case that could be part of the problem.

This is the DVD version. It was not downloaded.

i searched the forums for the problem but i assume nothing in event viewer because i am not getting an error message.

    Hi Helen,

    Apologies for this inconvenience.

    I would suggest you to uninstall the program using Adobe CC Cleaner tool. Find instructions here : Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

    And reinstall the application afresh.

    I have a similar problem. I downloaded and installation stopped at 99%. Tried to open file but will not open or finish.
