Photoshop Elements 15 - impossible to reinstall on new computer

Question

I have purchased a Photoshop Elements 15 through a shop receiving a serial number six years ago. This worked fine for years. Now I am switching to a new computer and want to transfer the subscription and things get complicated.

- I can only download an older version (15) if I have a subscription, or if the app is registered. See https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/downloaded-older-app.html

- I tried to register multiple times, but I get the message that the serial number is in use (I logged out of the one on the other computer but to no avail).

- I cannot get any support from Adobe ... because no subscription (purchasing a serial number does not count).

So I can't download it without registering, and registering does not work. It seems a bit sketchy ... or is there something I am not seeing? I simply cannot get myself to buy another copy, simply because this edition is working perfectly fine.

Hello Thomas,

You can download the full installer for Elements 15 from ProDesignTools. The links go to the authentic and secure files residing on Adobe’s servers and are guaranteed genuine, safe, and legal. If you have a genuine Elements serial#, it will install as a full version, otherwise, it will only install as a 30-day trial. Here's the link to ProDesignTools.
