PhotoShop Elements 15 - PDF Slide Shows

My wife and I travel quite a lot and between us we take a lot of photographs.  Occasionally we give talks on our travels to local groups.  We are accustomed to illustrate our talks with a slide show in the form of a pdf file compiled from our photos and projected onto a screen.

In earlier versions of Photoshop this was a straight forward process.  Select the photos, create the pdf slide show, set the transition time to zero, save the file and that was it.  Now I can only create a pdf file by saying that I want to send a slide show to a friend, go to my e-mail program and grab the pdf file from there!

When I open the file it has a built in transition.

Can some one tell me please if there is a way to alter the transition time without spending a considerable amount on the Adobe PDF editing programme.

    Geoff,

Unfortunately, pdf slideshows are no longer available in recent Elements versions. Elements only offers 'automatic' mp4 slideshkows and you can no longer customize the effects or transitions manually.

The best advice I can give is to keep your old Elements version together with your present PSE15 on your computer to create those pdf slideshows.

Note that you can create a multipage pdf without Elements if you use a free virtual printer device like the one supplied in Windows 10 or in many free add-ons. You select your images and print them to the virtual printer. That pdf file can be displayed as a slideshow from your projector.
