Photoshop Elements 18 launch failure 0xc00007b

Question

Ich versuche seit Tagen, PSE 18 auf meinem Laptop zu installieren. Es kommt die Meldung, dass die Installation abgeschlossen ist, jedoch einige Elemente nicht erfolgreich installiert werden konnten. Der Link zur Fehlerübersicht bringt kein Ergebnis. Wenn ich versuche, die Anwendung zu öffnen, bekomme ich " Fehler 0xc00007b “die Anwendung konnte nicht gestartet werden" . Verschiedene im Internet allgemein vorgeschlagenen Möglichkeiten zur Fehlerbehebung bei Fehler 0xc00007b habe ich bereits ohne Erfolg ausprobiert. Was könnte da schieflaufen?

It is usually a problem with the Microsoft Distributable installations. You can try a repair from the Windows Control panel starting with the latest year and working backwards.

But I would suggest uninstalling PSE 2018 and the Microsoft files should get updated during the fresh installation.
