Photoshop Elements 2019 hanging, white screen. circle rotating. I am not able to restart.

Question

Hello,I had a picture on the screen to look at. Suddenly I only had a white screen with the rotating wheel. Since then I can no longer get into Photoshop Elements 19 and keep getting the white screen. I use PC Microsoft Windows 11 and I am a normal, average user.Who can help me here? Is there any experience to solve my problem?Many thanks for any suggestions for finding a solution.With kind regardsPierre

Are you viewing in the Organizer or the Editor?

Have you rebooted your computer?

If you are referring to the Organizer, press the Shift key when you launch the program. This will take you to the Catalog Manager. Create a new catalog and open it. Does the Organizer open?
