Photoshop Elements 2019 is not usable

I upgraded from the 2018 Adobe bundle (Photoshop Elements, Premier Elements, Organizer) to the 2019 bundle. Life was good with the 2018 version, and I’m very sorry I purchased the 2019 version. Like everyone else I cannot stand to watch the spinning beachball when I try to use Photoshop Elements. I have never before seen the beachball spin so long and so often. I cannot believe that Adobe tested this version of PE? It is impossible not to notice this behavior. And I don’t think the problem has anything to do with Mojave because I haven’t noticed or heard of any slowness anywhere else—only in PE. I’m working on a photo restoration project that I expect to take years. However, now that Photoshop Elements 2019 is broken and unusable, it may take centuries.
