Photoshop Elements 2020 CD

My Lenovo ThinkCenter M720 computer, that I installed Photoshop Elements 2020 on, crashed and I had to reinstall W11, and start from scratch.

I put the Photoshop Elements 2020 CD in the CD drive and was waiting for it to ask me my (I believe that it's a) 20-digit code, but that didn't happen.

Instead, I was presented with an Adobe page that taked about all the wonderfull things Photoshop Elements can do and offered me a 30 free trial.

My question is how do I install Photoshop Elements 2020 from a CD that was a piece of cake to do, just a few years ago.

After you install Photoshop Elements 2020 and run it for the first time it should ask you to Sign In and for your serial number if your connected to the internet.

This is not the first time I have installed Photoshop Elements 2020.

It was installed on my computer when it crashed so it was not "uninstalled".

I am trying to reinstall it on the same computer and it hasn't asked me for the 24 digit serial number so I am not sure where I am except that I am not where I was before my computer crashed.

What you describe is the redemption code. PSE serial numbers always have "1057" as the first 4 numbers.
