Photoshop Elements 2021

Question

So my sister purchased the Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 for me as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately, she was not aware that my os was windows 8.1. Recently got a new pc with the os Windows 11. Downloaded the software by using the serial #, as new pc has no disc drive. Although the organizer will open, the photo editor will not. Says that it's loading & then stops. Any suggestions?

Disc versions can sometimes be different from download versions.

Try uninstalling and install the disc version using an external disc drive like this one:
