Photoshop Elements 2021 not working with Mac Monterey, again - 04.20.22

I have Photoshop Elements 2021. Earlier this year, when my Macbook Pro updated to Monterery, I ran into the same problem where it wouldn't launch and wouldn't open any files. I followed the suggestions from this forum and got it to work. Unfortunately, it happened again today. I can't get Photoshop Elements 2021 too open or open any files. When I drag a file to the icon, the icon bounces and then closes. No error message, no nothing, it just closes itself. It was working perfectly last night when I was working. Nothing I do fixes the problem. I bought PE 2021 and can't afford to buy PE 2022.
