photoshop elements 2021 organizer and editor will not launch in windows 10

photoshop elements 2021 organizer and editor will not launch in windows 10. purchased from microsoft store few months ago and has been working ok until today when the only screen i can get to is the home screen.  i noticed there is now 2022 added to the name.  How do i fix this issue?  Seems that there are many others with similar issues.
