Photoshop Elements 2021 - photo editor has stopped launching

Recent acquired PS Elements and premier. on Mac OS with latest Big Sur.

Was working. Just tried to use editor today and wont open either directly from Elements or by opening a .psd file. Organiser and Vid editor will.

Exasperated as need to work on files!

Hi there,

 

Sorry that Photoshop Elements 2021 does not launch on your Mac running the macOS Big Sur.

 

Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021  work with macOS 11.0 (BigSur) but have these known compatibility issues.

 

Would you mind checking the steps mentioned in this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/troubleshoot-errors-freezes-install-photoshop-elements.h... and let us know if that helps?

    Thanks for this.. checked all the pre-checks and all covered.

    Latest updates were installed / no viruses etc.

    I ended up uninstalling it all and starting again... and for the time being it appers to be working, but having read a few threads on here now, I am wary that its going to happen again. Was not able to complete what I wanted to do last night - frustrated!
