Photoshop elements 2021 save as issue

Suddenly for no reason I can think of my photoshop elements won't let me save my images. I click file - save as and a blank window appears then I have to force quit the program. It was working fine at first. Im on a Mac Catalina 10.15.7

Try resetting the preferences file. Go to Edit>Preferences>General tab and click the Reset Preferences on next launch button.
