Photoshop Elements 2022 copy a photo in Adobe to place in a windows folder system very slow

With Adobe startup, loading the catalog is super fast.
However, when I copy a photo in Adobe that I then want to place in a folder in the explorer, the system is super slow.
It takes more than 12 seconds before the photo becomes visible in the explorer and before the cursor forms an arrow again instead of a circle, more than 20 seconds.
According to the specifications that Adobe Elements 2022 sets for a PC, my PC would more than meet these specifications.
What could this be due to?
