photoshop elements 2022: "the installation can not continue as the installer file may be damaged."

hi all.

bought this software online and got a license for 1 user on 2 windows machines. on my hp laptop with windows 11 it worked.

on my imac (osx high sierra 10.13.6) i have installed parallels desktop 15 (with latest updates). in parallels i have windows 10 pro 21H2 running.

downloaded the installer, but all the time i got the message:

"the installation can not continue as the installer file may be damaged." download the file again.

 

tried everything, no succes. as elements 2022 could not run directly on high sierra i would like to run it in parallels.

does anybody have any suggestions??

hi Peru Bob,

that was were i got the download from. now also tried on macbook pro, BIG SUR, parallels 17, same result in windows 11.  on pc with windows 11 it installs, as on laptop with windows 10. looks like it can't install in parallels.

strange because an older version of adobe elements did work. 

 

so.... any other solutions, or just  let Adobe make clear it PE2022 does not run in parallels
