When I click on the Organiser icon, it opens up but then shuts down before I can do anything.  Any suggestions?

    If you create and open a new catalog, you can select the old one (in the File>Manage Catalogs dialog) and perform a repair and optimation on it.  Try holding down the Shift key before launching the Organizer.  Keep holding it until the dialog pops up.  Sometimes the dialog will appear behind another window, so I suggest you do this without any other programs running.

      What OS are you using?

      Has it ever worked for you?

      Have you created a catalog?

      Are you getting any error messages?

      Try holding down the Shift key while launching the Organizer. This will bring up the Catalog Manager dialog. Create and open a new catalog and see if the program launches.

      Thanks for getting back to me. I have a Dell PC, and the OS is Windows 10
      - is this problematic? I use the PC just for my photos (almost 60k).
      It worked well up to a couple of days ago.
      At first, I was getting an error message, which, unfortunately, I did not
      record, but now the catalog loads, won't allow me to do anything and then
      just goes back to the main screen.
      I tried holding the shift key when launching but it didn't seem to make a
      difference - if I was opening a new catalog, would I have to import all the
      pictures again?
