Photoshop elements 2023

Struggling with the organiser.  Quite a few issues but

a) the "file" "edit" "find" "view" and "help" dropdowns aren't working.

b) The folder list is just an alphabetical list of all folders and sub folders so for example I have lots of folders called "edit" which are sub folders but they are not shown linked to their parent folder.

c) It keeps creating an additional people tag for the same person

d) I press a "tick" box  and nothing appears to happen until I open task master and the appropriate dialog box magically appears.

Plus a few other issues.

Any suggestions?
