Photoshop Elements 2023

Question

HiIm a newbie and have a problem with the Camera Raw Plugin (15_5)I have a Mac and installed it but it still doesnt work. I still het the message to install de Camara Raw Plugin. I dont know what to do. Can anyone help me?

Tnx for your replay. I dont know how its done but a friend of mine did solve this problem.

Sounds like you installed the camera raw 15.5 update that was listed in the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop Application.

If so, that is for Photoshop CC and to update photoshop elements you can try the following directions:

Navigate to the following folder:
- On macOS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-ins/CC/File Formats
- On Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CC\File Formats

Copy the Camera Raw plug-in from the CC > File Formats folder that is mentioned in the above step.

Navigate to the following folder:
- On macOS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-ins/Elements<Version Number>/File Formats
- On Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\Elements<Version Number>\File Formats

Replace the existing Camera Raw plugin in Elements<Version Number> folder with the plug-in that you copied.
