Photoshop Elements 2023/2025 Organizer on Mac won't render image on 21:9 wide monitor

When using Photoshop Elements 2025 Organizer on a 21:9 wide monitor (Dell U3421WE) on a Mac, and zooming in on a single image, the organizer will not render the image (it justs shows a grey question mark). If I narrow the organizer window to about 2/3 of the screen width, or make the left and right panes wide enough so that the image pane is roughly 2/3 of the screen width, the image is also rendered correctly.

The issue appears consistently on both JPEG and HEIC images.

Elements 2023 has the same issue.
