You can try reinstalling, but I'm not sure it will help.   Here are some other suggestions/questions.

  • What are the size and pixel dimensions of your monitor?
  • Do you have two GPUs on your computer?  (An integrated Intel GPU and a second graphics card?  If so, go to Windows Device Manager and disable the Intel GPU (under Display Adapters).
  • Make sure that your graphics drivers are up to date.
  • Please provide a screenshot of the entire monitor.  (Use the Windows logo key and Print Screen.)

Hi Gary -- sometime back I had change the scale on my display to 150% (I had forgotten I did this). I changed it back to 125%, and now my display is working fine. Occam's razor I guess. Thanks for all of your recommendations. Sherry

Task View is not the same setting as Automatically hide the taskbar.  My screenshot is for Windows 11.  It should be similar to Windows 10.

Found it. "Automatically hide the task bar" is already unchecked. Thanks

Thanks for your help Greg. My problem is still the same. Should I try uninstalling and re-installing Photoshop Elements?

Since you haven't told us what you have tried unsuccessfully, I am going to suggest that if you have Windows set to autohide the taskbar, you turn that setting off.  You can get to that setting by right-clicking on the taskbar and clicking on Taskbar settings.  In the dialog that appears, click on Taskbar Behavior and uncheck the box to automatically hide the taskbar:

If that doesn't fix the problem, please give us a screenshot of your screen.

I checked the "Task View" and it was already set to "ON"
Thanks, Sherry
