Photoshop Elements 2024; how to get the latest updates?

whether or not you have the latest version depends upon what build you have installed.  To find out got to HELP>ABOUT.

The most recent build was published on Jun 13th 2024.   Build: 20240531 (It was finished on May31st, 2024- that is where the build number comes from).  I realize now the build # is based upon the date it was completed and typically predates the release date of the build by about two weeks. 

Something I did just this morning:  I uninstalled and reinstalled PSE 2024 using the download link in my Adobe account.  Know what?  What I downloaded from my adobe account was the latest build.

If the updates option is greyed out for you:  you cannot go somewhere and download the latest and greatest.
