Photoshop Elements 2025 - Beyond Frustrated
When I add photos to the Organizer, I usually edit them. When I try to saved the edited version and choose Save As, I get a warning that it has to be saved as a copy. If I do that, I get two copies of the edited version in the Organizer. I don't want two copies, actually three since the original is also there. So, I try to delete one of the copies. Both copies are deleted, and I'm back to the beginning again.
I've used Photoshop for years, and it worked well until this version. I didn't want to buy it, but had to since my last version is no longer compatible with the latest Mac OS. Plus, I'm now stuck with a subscription instead of owning the version I just bought.
I did a chat with an agent on Friday, August 1. He couldn't explain or resolve my problems, so after an hour, he said he'd have a "senior agent" call me on Monday, August 4 at 1:00 pm. I waited all afternoon on Monday for the call, postponing other things to be a available. The call finally came on Wednesday, August 6 at 9:00. At that time, I was in a meeting and not at my computer, so I asked the caller to call again that afternoon at 2:00. The call came at 5:00 when I was again unavailable, so the call went to voice mail.
Fast forward to Friday, August 8. I initiated another chat with an agent, explained the issues again, and asked to be transferred to a senior agent. The person I chatted with PROMISED I would get a call today, Monday, August 11 at 9:00 am my time. Again, no call. This has been eleven days of frustration. The old Photoshop worked well. Now I have a subscription I don't want, a program that doesn't work as well as the old one, and zero help from customer service. There is no way to email customer service to discuss the lack of customer service in returning calls, so I am posting here. Maybe someone who cares will actually see this and contact me.
