Photoshop Elements 2025 - where is smudge tool?

Looking for smudge tool in 2025...and is there a way to add more tools to the left hand tool bar?

No you cannot add more tools on the left. You can only adjust the tools like what you want in PhotoShop.

The Advanced Mode should be sticky. If you were in that mode when you closed the program, it should reopen that way.
