Hallo,

der Photoshop Elements 2026 Assistent startet nicht mehr. Ich vermute, es hängt damit zusammen, dass ich die Vorgängerversion PSE 2024, das noch parallel aktiv war, deinstalliert habe. Kann ich PSE 2026 "reparieren" oder muss ich es neu installieren? Oder gibt es einen anderen Weg?

Ich würde neu installieren. Aber aufpassen dass beim deinstallieren auch die Einstellungen gelöscht werden. Man kann nie wissen...

Just reinstall your version of pse- log out of the editor first.

Uninstall it.

download that version from your adobe product listing in your adobe account.

Reinstall.

Each version is it's own installation- it doesn't touch any previous versions.

You can't have a version open and running when you install a new version, but the install knows that.

Make sure you are clicking on the correct icon- the one that starts pse 2026.
