Photoshop Elements 2026 Printing problems

I have been using PE 2026 for over a year now, and been printing to my Epson ET2850 with no problems. Recently when pressing print from the print dialogue settings, it crashes back to the home screen and does not print. I have reset all the preferences and rebooted but this makes no difference. I have changed nothing that I am aware of in my set-up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have been having terrible problems with PSE26 printing. It tells me this and then it says the default printer could not be found! I have had adobe on remote access but they can’t fix it and don’t seem interested in trying either and I have tried every fix going I can find on the web. Has anyone fixed it?

I have been having the same issue with PSE2025, tried all the suggestion that I have seen posted to no avail. Today, I tried something a bit random…...I cleared the recent file list in preferences, and also the recent file list from the task bar Elements icon. I have just printed an image , no crash, or screen freeze.
